  • The Key to Great Home Care Just May Be in the Beauty of Keeping it Simple

    December 18, 2017

While Delivering Great Home Care is Serious Business, it Does not Have to be Complicated.

  • If We Keep Seniors Front & Center, All we Can Do is Right

    October 10, 2017

I was recently reminded that October is Patient-Centered Care Month. This resonated with me because I often talk about seniors being the center of OUR universe here at Senior Helpers Boston and South Shore, and I was more than curious as to how our approach to caregiving aligned with the “patient-centered care” model popularized in the broader healthcare system.

  • Training the Angels: Finding Those to Do the Amazing

    September 13, 2017

As Owner of Senior Helpers Boston and South Shore, no one needs to give me a primer on the impact of professional caregivers. In my opinion it is one of the hardest jobs in the world. • Safely Stepping Into Spring

    April 27, 2016

I saw the first flower peek through the ground in my yard this weekend so I guess it is safe to say Spring is here. As the weather warms and the sun is brighter it is a great time to enjoy the outside. Last month I wrote about being healthy, dressing for success and organizing after the winter. I had a conversation with one of my fellow owners in Senior Helpers last week and we both had noticed an increase in slips and falls as our clients sought to take advantage of the outside in Spring of last year.
