Our Initial In-home or Virtual Care Assessment
Where to Start

Our Initial In-home or Virtual Care Assessment

When you’re close to a senior family member it can be difficult to know all their specific needs. In some cases, a senior family member might be reluctant to mention their more personal needs. Our trained and professional consultants create a safe space where your loved one can comfortably discuss their needs.

The first step in the process is a complimentary, initial in-home care assessment with a Senior Helpers consultant.  This assessment can help you understand the true needs of your loved one, and your options. Together we can discuss your loved one's needs, our senior care services and determine what’s best for your entire family.

Virtual Assessments Now Available! Senior Helpers of Rock Hill will work with clients to stay safe during the Pandemic.

Services

  • Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Senior Helpers is proud to offer our exclusive program for seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia: Senior Gems. The Senior Gems program was designed by experts to help your loved one live the fullest life possible. We are happy to focus on what each person can do and what makes them unique and special. This positive focus allows us—and you—to treasure the person in front of us today, even as the brain changes with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
  • Parkinson’s Care

Senior Helpers’ Parkinson’s Care Program is a specialized training and certification program created in conjunction with leading experts from the Parkinson Foundation’s Center of Excellence. This program, the first of its kind in the in-home senior care industry, is designed to provide our caregivers with the expert training and education necessary to create personalized care plans for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
  • Cognitive Care through Companionship

Sometimes all that is needed to enjoy the things we love is someone by our side supporting us.  Our seniors thrive the most when they feel they have purpose and relationships with others in their neighborhoods or community.  When seniors are left alone and are isolated due to their own limitations this is when we see cognitive decline, depression and illness take control of their lives. At Senior Helpers Rock Hill our care professionals provide quality care to our clients by keeping them socially engaged with activities they are still able to do with a care professional by their side. We take great care in personalizing our client's day with a variety of activities so they can continue to enjoy life and participate in the things they are passionate about. Our client care managers spend time getting to know our clients and all the things they love to do as well as tasks throughout the day they wish to accomplish.  We work together with the client and family to put together a detailed care agenda that our care professionals follow to ensure our clients have a productive, safe and positive experience throughout our time with them. Whether it is assistance with reading, bird watching, line dancing, playing pool, assistance with chores, working on puzzles or just getting a favorite TV program in, we build our client's day to keep it positive, cognitively stimulating, productive and safe.

  • Personal Care

Our personal care line of services helps your loved ones with more intimate, non-medical care needs. Whether it is for normal aging challenges, hospital recovery or sickness, we are here to make everyday life easier and more manageable. Our experienced caregivers are specifically trained to handle these tasks and our care managers will be closely involved to conduct periodic assessments to survey your loved one's care.
  • Return Home Transitional Care

  • Surgery Assistance

We can monitor your elderly loved one while they are in the hospital so that you can go to work or simply take a break. Our professional, locally-based caregivers are available 24-hours a day to give you the peace of mind that your loved one is not alone.
  • End-of-Life Support Care

We help families navigate the full continuum of senior care. At some point, the focus may shift from helping a senior client with health and recovery to providing comfort and support. We are available to work alongside your local hospice and provide around-the-clock care for your loved one. Our Caregivers receive in-depth end-of-life training to provide the personal and emotional support your loved one and the family needs during this difficult time.
  • Concierge Care

Senior Helpers’ Concierge Care program is a collaborative agreement with assisted, independent, and continuing care retirement communities to provide additional in-home support and services to community residents.
