Safety and self-care have been at the forefront of our minds as to how we can assist our team of caregivers, clients and their families to equip them with the resources and the training to remain safe and healthy. We decided to wrap 2022 up with a blog on just the beginning of this subject. It has so many components to it from techniques, proper equipment, nutrition, self-awareness of our bodies and minds, and most importantly the influence of our environment and who we surround ourselves with.
Did you know Senior Helpers of Rock Hill has a certified First Aid and CPR instructor? We not only offer these trainings to our team, but we also extend the invitation out to any individual who is a caregiver for a loved one. Knowing the proper techniques to administer First Aid and CPR not only can save lives but also can give you a peace of mind that if an unfortunate situation occurs you will be prepared to address the incident. We only charge the fee for the certificate, there is no overhead training cost to you. We feel this is a huge first step in educating the individuals in our communities that we serve in safety.
We are never too old to learn so if you are interested in learning more about this training opportunity please call our office at 803-329-4357 and one of our team members will work with you to enroll in one of our classes.
We are so excited to continue to post throughout the end of the year and into 2023 about other ways you can keep you and your loved ones safe and maintain or improve your, or their, self-care. We invite you to check in at our website to read our future blogs on our first quarter focused topics. We will be bringing some exciting other ways we plan to educate and assist our communities in safety and self-care. Happy Holidays and a Happy Healthy New Year!
