Romeater Anderson Nominated for National Caregiver Award
Senior Helpers of Hilton Head, South Carolina is proud to announce that Mrs. Romeater Anderson has been nominated for the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) 2022 Caregiver of the Year Award.
Mrs. Anderson is among more than 300 nominees from home care agencies across the country. This national program recognizes the top caregivers who provide care and services at home, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication reminders, to seniors and people with disabilities.
“Mrs. Anderson truly represents all the goodness in home care. Her compassion, selflessness, and dedication to her clients are at the core of our work. As a frontline caregiver, Mrs. Anderson recommits herself to this very demanding profession every day. It is our honor and privilege to work alongside Mrs. Anderson,” stated Scott Wellinger, owner of Senior Helpers of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
“Caregiving is tough. It requires a special kind of empathy that not all people are lucky enough to possess,” said HCAOA CEO Vicki Hoak. “This award is just one way we can lift up our caregivers, who are a vital lifeline to the clients they serve at home. It is a pleasure to recognize those who go above and beyond with a song, a surprise outing, or a client’s favorite meal to ensure they are cared for.”
