Senior Helpers® Opens Doors in Plymouth, MN

PLYMOUTH, MN (May 10, 2023)Senior Helpers®, one of the nation’s premier providers of personalized in-home senior care, today announced the official opening of its Plymouth, Minnesota location, Senior Helpers of Lake Minnetonka. The new franchise, to be managed and operated by owner Kaitlin McDaniel, will serve senior citizens and their families throughout the region, including Chaska, Excelsior, Maple Grove, Orono, Plymouth, Rogers and Wayzata, and will bring more than 30 new area jobs over the next year. Senior Helpers’ professionally trained and licensed caregivers will help local seniors continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges.

“After looking for a way to provide the highest standard of care to elderly citizens, I found that Senior Helpers gives communities the above-and-beyond care that traditional healthcare oftentimes lacks,” said McDaniel. “My goal is to be a helpful resource to seniors and their families as an expert in senior care. My new chapter with Senior Helpers will allow me to achieve this goal while giving back to the local community.”

McDaniel has dedicated her entire career, approximately 14 years—to healthcare, serving as a speech-language pathologist. She particularly enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and their families during critical life moments by educating, advocating and caring for the patient and their support system. McDaniel is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to individuals in need and looks forward to delivering care that enhances independence and overall wellbeing to the senior community at Senior Helpers of Lake Minnetonka.

Senior Helpers operates with a vision to be the leading home care company in each community it serves. Its caregivers are trained to offer the highest level of care possible based on the company’s Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and Dementia care program. As the gold standard for excellence in personalized in-home senior care, the program was developed in conjunction with nationally recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow, Positive Approach, LLC. Local residents will also benefit from the company’s Parkinson’s Care Program, a specialized training program for their caregivers created in conjunction with leading experts from the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Kaitlin to our team as the newest Senior Helpers franchise owner,” said Peter Ross, chief executive officer, Senior Helpers. “Her dedication to building positive relationships with clients and their families alongside her commitment to supporting the caregiving team will greatly impact members in the Greater Plymouth area.”
