Our Services

Knowing your loved one is happy, safe, and cared for is your priority … and ours too. Senior Helpers of Burnsville & Surrounding Areas places a priority on creating safe, caring and compassionate environments for all clients, while providing ongoing communication and follow-up plans which offer peace of mind for family members. Our free, no obligation in-home care interview is the process we use to help you understand the true needs of your loved one, and your options. Together we can discuss your loved one’s needs, our senior care services and determine what’s best for your entire family.

Our Promise

At Senior Helpers of Burnsville and South Metro, our goal is to help provide high quality care for our clients and their families. We have a wonderful office staff to support our excellent caregivers so they can provide care to our seniors. We do this by delivering uncompromising levels of customized, dependable and cost-effective care to all our families. There is no greater responsibility than entrusting someone with the care of a loved one - and we want to earn your confidence to become your trusted partner.

We never send a stranger.  One of the most difficult aspects of being a new home care client is having a caregiver show up at the door without being properly introduced or being ill-prepared to meet the client’s needs.  Or in the case of having a substitute, not getting any advance notification of a change and then dealing with a stranger at the door.  With Senior Helpers, this will not happen.  A proper introduction will be made.

Caregivers are supervised employees, not independent contractors. We are not a referral service or “nurse registry,” where workers are assigned to cases, leaving families to sort through the fine points themselves — whether taxes get paid, whether background checks have been performed, whether they’re bonded and insured. We do all these things in advance, along with testing skills, verifying credentials and speaking with families they’ve worked with before.

Put simply, we will never send a caregiver to a client’s home that we wouldn’t send to our own loved ones’ home.

Our Initial In-home Care Assessment
Where to Start

Our Initial In-home Care Assessment

Since no two client’s needs are exactly alike, our no obligation in-home care interview is the first step in helping your family evaluate care options and determining the type and level of assistance needed. We begin by selecting a convenient time to meet and assess the specific needs of your loved one. Together we’ll create a personalized care plan that outlines:

     • Your loved ones specific care goals, medical history and lifestyle

     • Create a customized care plan tailored to the family's preferences.

     • Select the right caregivers for your loved one

     • Evaluate pricing and payment options to best fit the family budget

     • Initiate care and outline an ongoing family communication plan
