Casperson Park and Boat Launch

Casperson is a beautiful, quiet park along beautiful Lake Marion. The park has a very nice, paved trail along the lakefront, a mountain bike trail, canoe/kayak rental as well as gazebos, picnic area, a playground and restrooms. There is a boat dock, handicapped accessible fishing pier, and plenty of areas for shore fishing. Winter activities offer vehicle access from the boat ramp for ice fishing.

Casperson Park Outdoor Performance Stage

In addition, Casperson Park has an Outdoor Performance Stage that is fully accessible with a 2,500-square-foot plaza with lit pathways, located between two parking lots near a playground. Performance Stage for outdoor concerts and entertainment. This is the home of Lakeville’s community band and shows scheduled by the Lakeville Area Arts Center (LAAC). The venue will be available for rental based on availability after the LAAC programming has been completed for the year.

PAN-O-PROG Summer Festival

Since 1967 Lakeville has been celebrating summer with its week-long Panorama of Progress or PAN-O-PROG every July. Lakeville’s annual summer celebration features July 4th fireworks, Classic Car Parade, Car Show, street dances, Lion’s Beer Brats & Bingo, Grand Parade, Fly0in Breakfast at Airlake Airport, Asian Market, Food Vendors, live music and more!

Holiday on Main in December

Welcome in the holidays in historic Downtown Lakeville as it’s transformed into a winter wonderland, with holiday lights, decorations, and music throughout the area. The event is held the first Saturday in December annually from 9 am to 2 pm. The celebration includes a holiday market where local vendors sell a variety of gifts and crafts, as well as food vendors offering festive treats.
