“Senior Helpers North Side Chicago LLC has been extremely helpful and they found a particularly capable and nice helper. My husband, however, decided that he wasn't ready for in-home care, so right now, the services are suspended, but we hope to resume whenever he feels he's ready. The Senior Helpers office and the supervisor were extremely supportive and helpful. I will always go back to them first whenever my husband decides he's willing to have the Senior Helpers. “My mother who has dementia had just come out of the hospital after experiencing a fall. After a doctor analyzed her he felt she needed to go to hospice due to her decline. We hired a caregiver from Senior Helpers and amazingly my mother’s condition improved. While the dementia cannot be reversed, the caregiver found ways to get my mom engaged in various activities that she had not done prior. She was singing, dancing, and laughing on a frequent basis. She did not spend her days sleeping or watching tv. A side of my mom was brought out that we had not seen in years.
