I can think of many times you have helped assist our Veterans and their families to meet their needs. One in particular occurred recently when you were doing an initial visit for a Veteran. This Veteran was discharged home from the hospital and was unable to get to the kitchen to get food and had not eaten in 3 days. Not only did you stay and prepare meals for him, you assisted him to get cleaned up and clothes changed and immediately got on the phone to request a wheelchair be delivered so this Veteran could transfer himself to the chair in order to get around his home. Thank you!
