February is Heart Month – Prioritizing Heart Health for Our Seniors

Today, in recognition of Heart Month, Senior Helpers had the privilege of hosting a heart health talk with Beckett Greten-Harrison, PA-C, founder of Hearts at Home Cardiology. Beckett, a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, specializes in bedside cardiology, providing in-home cardiac care for seniors living in many of the communities we serve.

We were honored to present at Wesley Village ALF and Crosby Commons, where Beckett shared invaluable insights on maintaining heart health, including:

✔️ The power of 30 minutes of exercise, five days a week to reverse plaque buildup and strengthen the heart
✔️ How diet, stress management, and social connection all play key roles in heart health
✔️ The importance of preventive screenings like calcium scores and lipid profiles in assessing cardiovascular risk
At Senior Helpers, we are committed not just to providing care but to empowering seniors with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed health decisions. Partnering with outstanding professionals like Beckett allows us to continue delivering exceptional care and support to our community.

Beckett is now accepting new patients and is available to see residents in Communities that need a Cardiologist who makes house calls. If your community could benefit from on-site cardiac care, reach out to me at 239-257-9108 or email me at tfrancis@seniorhelpers.com. Let’s bring expert heart care directly to seniors where they live.

Let’s make February a month of action for heart health—because small changes today lead to a healthier tomorrow!
