Our History
Senior Helpers of Coastal Orange County is locally owned and operated by Keyur and Mita Shah, who have both made Southern California their home since 2001. They are proud to be part of an exceptional team of care providers and office staff who provide in-home supportive care services with a strong focus on delivering a Disney-level customer experience at every turn.
Deeply connected to their cultural roots, Keyur and Mita strongly believe in the notion of Good Karma, and that taking care of those who once cared for us is one of life’s greatest honors.
They both knew there was a need for loving and high-quality caregiving as they had experienced it firsthand in their homes. Starting with their grandmother, and now extending to both sets of their parents, they know what it is like to seek the right kind of care in an extremely stressful, emotional and overwhelming time of life.
That experience inspired them to start Senior Helpers of Coastal Orange County to serve, be a resource and help local families navigate this unfamiliar journey and find the right kind of care. The office is located on Los Alisos Blvd. in Mission Viejo, a short drive from the Providence Mission Hospital.
Their goal is to provide a high quality of life for their clients and families by delivering customized, dependable and affordable care. Their team of highly qualified care professionals and staff all live in the Orange County area and are invested in serving this community.
Each care professional is personally interviewed by Keyur and Mita and treated with the highest level of dignity and respect. All care professionals go through thorough background checks and they are continuously trained in areas of Alzheimer’s and dementia care, Parkinson’s care, chronic disease care, post-surgery assistance, and end-of-live support care.
They are all part of the culture where we believe that serving others to the best of our abilities is the foundation of trust, empathy and a commitment to help our clients thrive. That’s Good Karma!
