Local Son Honors Family Legacy with New In-Home Senior Care Service in Queen Creek
Senior Helpers, the nation’s premier provider of in-home senior care services, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest location in Queen Creek.
Drawing from personal experiences managing care for their aging parents, local entrepreneurs Chandler Weight and Kyle Harris opened on July 3. The location serves the southeast area of Phoenix, including Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Superior, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Florence, and Coolidge. Senior Helpers of Queen Creek offers an array of services to help people age comfortably and safely in their homes, from assistance with daily activities to specialized care for chronic diseases.
“We both understand the transformative power of quality senior care,” says Weight. “Kyle and I are thrilled to introduce Senior Helpers’ unparalleled service to the community we proudly call home. Our mission is to empower seniors with the opportunity to age comfortably in the familiarity of their own homes.”
Harris, who has been with Senior Helpers since his teenage years, has seen firsthand the positive impact of the company’s specialized care. After the loss of his grandmother to Alzheimer’s disease, Harris’s father opened the first Senior Helpers location in Vancouver, Washington. Since then, they have successfully established another branch in Portland, Oregon. Now, with his father’s retirement due to a dementia diagnosis, Harris is taking over the family business and continuing the legacy.
“My calling is to serve seniors and provide the exceptional care that Senior Helpers offers, inspired by the profound benefits I’ve witnessed within my own family,” says Harris. “After taking over the two existing locations, I couldn’t think of a more rewarding opportunity than opening a location in the community I call home.”
Senior Helpers is known for their dependable, consistent, and affordable non-medical senior care services with hundreds of locations nationwide. That’s thanks to its rigorously screened and highly trained caregivers dedicated to delivering compassionate care while maintaining the dignity and independence of their clients. Additionally, Senior Helpers is nationally recognized as a great place for caregivers to work.
Senior Helpers of Queen Creek offers the exclusive LIFE Profile program, a data-driven assessment tool that reduces hospitalizations and supports aging in place. In addition, caregivers are trained through the Senior Gems program for Alzheimer’s and dementia, which was created in partnership with nationally recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow. Other specialized programs are offered for Parkinson’s care, transitional care, surgery assistance, and veteran’s care.
“Harris and Weight are the ideal Senior Helpers franchisees,” says Peter Ross, CEO and Co-Founder of Senior Helpers. “Harris’s experience with our franchise and Weight’s sales background, combined with their passion for serving the senior population, makes them the perfect candidates for us. We can’t wait to watch their business grow and see more southeast Phoenix residents experience the compassionate hand of a Senior Helpers caregiver’s service.”
Senior Helpers of Queen Creek is located at 40975 N Ironwood Dr #105, San Tan Valley, AZ 85140.
