Congratulations to Annette Wellington on receiving the Community StrongHER Award! Nominated by the City of Miramar Commissioner Alexandra Davis, Annette received her award from State Senator Shevrin Jones during a Zoom ceremony. Based on Annette's years of community service and involvement including support of the sick and elderly and assisting in areas such as food and mask distribution to those who were unable to leave their homes due to COVID pandemic. Other involvement included registering seniors for the COVID19 vaccine and assisting with transportation to the vaccination site.
